Family Description and Location

A British family with 3 children between 8 and 13 and their labrador is looking for an experienced hands-on management couple to oversee the running of their home. The estate is attached to a working farm which is a business and run separately by the principles so need an experienced couple to take the helm and ensure that the house is run smoothly. The house is surrounded 3 acres of formal gardens mainly beds and lawns an also an indoor pool. (There is part time gardener and a part time housekeeper to assist with laundry and housekeeping. The Estate is in a Village 10 minutes’ drive from Sherborne which is a flourishing market town with all the usual amenities.

Job Description

Your role will be to manage and maintain the house and its direct surrounds to a high standard.

Housekeeping

Laundry & ironing

Changing of bed linen

Driving including errands and school runs in the afternoon.

Family cooking – generally dinner for the family to be left on the stove.

General outdoor maintenance, DIY

Plant-room maintenance

Jet washing patios

Maintenance of garden furniture

Pool Maintenance

Dealing with contractors and all deliveries

Candidate Requirements

It is essential that you are an experienced coupe that are happy to live in a rural environment and that you both have driving licences. You will need written checkable references and be able to work independently and autonomously as the principles do not want to micro manage.

Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary

Separate 2/3 bedroom fully furnished cottage in the village a short walk from the house.

Pets will be considered.

Can start now (latest start February)

Monday – Friday

8am – 6:30pm with a lunch break and appropriate pauses.

Car for use on duty.

Live-in Housekeeper, cook. Buckinghamshire.

A Lovely Ultra High net worth family are looking for a live in Housekeeper, cook, with some childcare in Buckinghamshire.

This is a modern formal but relaxed house over 3 floors.

The family do travel and on occasions staff travel with them when required, so a valid passport with visa and no restrictions, will be required.

The housekeeper should have extensive experience of working within a staffed house, be comfortable with all aspects of keeping a house in pristine condition. Laundry, linen and wardrobe management are essential to this role.

The family would like the housekeeper to be a good cook, with experience of healthy food with a fish based diet.

There are two school aged children, the mother has a very busy lifestyle but is very much hands on.

Confidence around children is essential.Some sole charge care is required when parents travel for business.

This is a live in role with own room and ensuite.

Salary is dependent on experience £800 - £850 net per week, based on a 5/6 day week.

DBS / Written references required which will be checked externally during the recruitment process.

House is very close to a transportation hub with easy and quick access into London.

Weekend fun Nanny- London

Family with three children based in Hampstead, North London are looking for a weekend (every other weekend Friday evening until Sunday Night/Monday morning) Nanny or Manny. The position will be to care for 3 children (g8, b7, b11) that all lead sporty and active lives and so a fit and active candidate with a fun, enthusiastic yet laid-back and easy-going disposition would suit this position.

Candidates will need to be happy working alongside mum, looking after one child, all three children or friends of the children on playdates and weekend visits.

There are other staff employed in the household, but it would be perfect if the new Candidate can cook and help out where needed.

Little Venice, London W9- Short term position- Cook with housekeeping duties.

Temporary Cook/ Housekeeper required or a visiting family 4 (2 adults & 2 children)

The position will run from the 1st February until 31st May 2024

In the first week, the Cook-Housekeeper will be setting up the house with other visiting staff, who will be at the residence before the family arrive, they will brief the chosen chef as to the type of healthy meals the family prefer. The children have a nanny who will help with the temporary relocation.

Candidates must have an excellent understanding of healthy eating and living, be confident in their cooking, meal planning and food delivery.

Duties: General Housekeeping and daily tidy

Keeping all child related areas and belongings organised

Laundry - washing and ironing.

Grocery Shopping - online ordering and in-person fresh produce shopping.

The Chef/HK will essentially be responsible for meal preparation as well as keeping the house stocked with the foods the family enjoy. Cooking Vegetarian Family Meals - using organic produce and foods to create healthy meals high in protein. Very occasional fish is permissible, provided it is organic. No other seafood.

Working Hours: 12pm to 8pm Monday to Friday (hours can be slightly less if better suited to candidates)

Salary will be- £ 20-30 per hour DOE neg.
